Health Professions Combine 2017
The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences cordially invites you to the Campbell University 2017 Health Professions Combine. This unique professional event is scheduled for October 24, 2017 on the health sciences campus of Campbell University (Tracey F. Smith Hall) and is required for all health professions students. Throughout the day over 800 professional, graduate and undergraduate students in Clinical Research, Nursing, PA, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Public Health will be attending sessions on career and interprofessional topics. This event is an expansion of the annual College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ career day and will occur in conjunction with traditional career day activities.
Career Day 2018
Career Day is an opportunity for CPHS students to:
- Become aware of professional opportunities available in the fields of pharmacy, clinical research, pharmaceutical sciences, physical therapy, public health, and physician assistant practice
- Gain experience and confidence in interacting with potential employers and mentors in a professional environment
- Interview for internships and full time jobs
- Network and build relationships with future employers, colleagues, and mentors
Career Day will be held during the spring 2018 semester. The date as well as more details will be forthcoming.
Resume/CV/Cover Letter Writing
The student affairs team assists students with creating and editing these documents for interview, applications and more.
Current CPHS students are able to attend professionalism seminars throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. These featured topics include but are not limited to:
- Time management
- Burnout/Stress Relief
- Utilizing social media to network
- Writing a CV/Resume
- Interview Skills
- Communication Skills
- Financial Planning
