Program Overview

AES is a unique opportunity for students to explore health sciences and gain knowledge about careers in life sciences, biochemistry, biotech, pharmacology, biomedical engineering and MUCH MORE! Students experience hands-on learning workshops, laboratory experiments, and engineering exercises, in addition to staying on a college campus.

This is a one week summer residential program for rising 9th – 12th grade high school students. Students selected to participate in AES will explore biotech and health sciences through hands-on laboratory experiences, workshops, and an industry site visit.

Cost

All activities are grant funded and there is no cost to participate. Room and board, lab supplies, tuition, and meals are included for this one-week program. Student participants will pay only the cost of their transportation to and from Campbell University.

How Do I Apply?

Applicants click the button below to apply and then submit a letter of recommendation using the appropriate button below. One letter of recommendation is required per student applicant. The letter must be from an adult, preferably a STEM teacher, counselor, administrator, or homeschool group leader.

Notification

We expect to send initial notification letters by mid-May and waitlist notifications by late May. Notifications will be sent to the email provided on the application. Participating students will need to complete additional steps, and we will provide more information to accepted students.
