First-Year and Transfer Students
Upon acceptance, you will be admitted to Campbell University as a general undergraduate student and identified as Pre-Nursing for the first two years.

Applying to the School of Nursing
During the sophomore year, Pre-Nursing students complete a competitive admission application to the Catherine W. Wood School of Nursing.
Applicants must be declared as Pre-Nursing at Campbell University and must be in the process of completing the two years of pre-nursing curriculum to apply.
Criteria for the BS in Nursing program includes:
- a preferred cumulative GPA and science GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- an interview session with either an admissions committee and/or the director of the program
- a written essay, and an evaluation of special skills and abilities that enhance the nursing profession
The application will be available in January each year.
