Campbell University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program values diversity and utilizes a holistic admissions process to select the best Campbell student pharmacists each year, as demonstrated by class profiles. The PharmD Admissions Committee evaluates academic performance through GPA scores; dedication to service through community service experiences and mission experiences; and leadership through work experience, undergraduate involvement, and community involvement.
Although not required, pharmacy work experience or shadowing is evaluated and highly recommended for all applicants. It is also recommended for students with a GPA below 3.0 to submit PCAT, MCAT and/or DAT scores. Additionally, personal statements, letters of recommendation, and interview results are evaluated to ensure quality and fit for our program.
