Musculoskeletal Conditions
Feeling a nagging pain in your lower back or neck? Still suffering from a minor sprain or muscle pull? Campbell University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Community Wellness program provides an injury screening and management program for the local community.
How Does it Work? Student Physical Therapists will evaluate your injury and provide a 6-week program to help your pain, discomfort, and/or mobility challenges. They will assess your movement impairments and discuss how this is affecting your activities of daily living. Through the session, they will provide faculty monitored management of your injury. At the conclusion of the 6-week session, you will be provided an actionable plan to get back to what you love, reduce risk of future injury, or guide future medical options.
Services begin with an initial evaluation on the listed start date and continue with weekly sessions on the same day and at the same time until the program end date. Consistent attendance is required to support both participant progress and student clinical learning.
