Clinical Affiliation

There are numerous clinical affiliations for PA students to complete their supervised clinical training. Students will be notified of their clinical training sites during the spring/summer semester of the didactic year. Those sites are located in Harnett and other counties throughout North Carolina.

Clinical Rotations at Distant Sites

While many clinical education rotations take place in Harnett County and the surrounding areas, we also offer rotations across several regions throughout North Carolina. Students may select a preferred home region (from a list provided by the clinical team) where they will complete their clinical rotations. If an appropriate distribution of students across regions is not achieved through self-selection, the program may implement a lottery system based on student preferences to ensure that all clinical sites are utilized.

Every effort will be made to arrange clinical rotations within a 90-minute drive of a student’s home location. If a rotation site is located more than 90 minutes away, housing will be available for the student.
